At a fixed independent 1% rate, a hundred opened crates model a 63.4% chance of at least one Engineer. No pity rule is established by the reviewed sources. Rarity does not establish a trade price.

Three Engineer placements
Faron explicitly reports a maximum of three Engineers. DarkNight101's automatic caption renders a less clear count; this guide uses the explicit report and keeps it separate from a current site playtest.
Equip an affordable opening defender before queueing. DarkNight101 places a starter before deploying Engineers: early enemies still need to be stopped while the spawner develops.
