Bring an opening, crowd coverage and a cash plan
Equip an affordable opening attacker, a crowd option such as the demonstrated Laser, and an income unit if you already own one. An owned Engineer can add late spawner support, while the opener handles early waves.
Defense first; income once it holds. Faron reports Speaker maximum income of 500 match cash per wave. Its exact current upgrade-price curve is not collected. Without an income unit, preserve front and rear damage and save for meaningful upgrades, rather than waiting for an unavailable farm.
Another placement or the next upgrade?
KaChaPond compares 300 for another Laser placement with 700 to reach level two. If enemies escape a different segment, a new placement can cover it. If a packed lane survives the existing cone, upgrading that coverage may be more useful. These are editorial choices based on the reported costs.
A concrete retry route
| Stage | Source observation | Next decision |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | Laser placement costs 300; the next early upgrade costs 700. | Secure opening damage. Compare a new coverage segment with strengthening the existing lane. |
| Waves 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 | The creator describes a higher-HP checkpoint every fifth wave in this stretch. | Before each checkpoint, inspect the exit defender and reserve cash for a useful upgrade. |
| Wave 35 boss | The boss is narrated as 234,000 HP. Ten of fifteen reported slots are occupied; cash is short. | This is an economy bottleneck: unused slots cannot help without cash. Add income earlier on the retry once damage holds. |
| Boss leaves an old unit's range | The creator suggests selling that old unit. | Check refund, downstream placement price and remaining time before attempting a sale-and-rebuy move. |
Do not turn the shown 15-placement report or 234,000-HP boss into a universal current rule for every mode. They explain the specific run and the retry decisions.
Fix the place where the run fails
In the source's separate Insane group attempt, everyone defended the front and escaped enemies had no rear defender. That same coverage problem can guide a Hard retry, without treating the two modes as identical.
| First failure | Change for the next attempt |
|---|---|
| Small enemies escape the front alive | Cover the exit before spending all remaining cash on another front-only stack. |
| Packed groups remain in range but survive | Compare a damage upgrade at that cone with the cost of another unit. |
| Boss moves out of your strongest range | Plan overlapping downstream coverage; consider a conditional reposition only after checking the cost. |
| Late slots remain unused because cash is short | Introduce income earlier once the opener holds. Preserve enough defense to reach the next payout. |
| No income unit in your collection | Use an affordable damage team and deliberate upgrade order; the guide does not require buying a particular unit. |
A sale-and-rebuy is a conditional move
The source says an old unit can be sold once the boss leaves its range. Placing a new unit downstream is our editorial inference: verify the sale refund, new placement cost, reachable path and available time before doing it. It is not a free relocation mechanic.
Read the completion screen for rewards
The source's result narration mentions 600, a double-reward event and a run duration of 8 minutes 52 seconds. A later balance approaching 900 is not the boosted reward. Older beginner footage reports Hard paying 300 Coins. These observations do not establish today's base or event payout.
Front-only failure, then a solo Hard retry
The chapter moves from a group coverage failure to Laser cash choices and the solo Hard run. The written checkpoints remain available without video.
